LEITZ LEICA M2 Rangefinder Camera

This camera is in excellent original cosmetic condition, in that the sharkskin is complete and good, chrome is good (except for the personal ID number scratched into the base and back of top plate). The cameracontrols all work as designed. Theshuttercurtainslook great, and all shutter speeds timer sound correct (not tested for accuracy). This camera has 4 problems as far as I can determine, a personal ID number is scratched into the back of top cover and base plate (very faint), the back cover has minor paint loss, the view finder is bright and clear with parallax correction, the range finder is bright but out of adjustment, and leading shutter curtain is sluggish. Because the leading curtain is sluggish the shutter only opens fully at 1/250, 1/125, and B (see picture 10). This camera body will need a CLA to work properly.
