I am liquidating a very large collection of cameras, binoculars, lenses and audio equipment over the next few months.
Most of these items have been in storage for years or even decades. I am a photographer, collector and user of cameras, and I am very familiar with equipment. HOWEVER, due to the large number of items I am trying to sell, I do not have time to try or use every camera or lens I\'m selling.
I will give them a quick, two or three minute check, then describe them as best I can. I may miss something. I am not examining them under a microscope for tiny imperfections. These are all USED, AS-IS, FINAL SALE items. I make no guarantee that anything is perfect or that something may not go wrong with them.
If you look at my response, you will see I have been on since 1998, selling photographic and other items, and my buyers have almost all been happy. If you are the type who wants a perfect item or a mechanically perfect item, my sales are not for you. I want to sell all these items quickly. I don\'t want buyers who are going to send me a list of tiny things they found wrong and demand refunds, returns, etc. I want to deal withknowledgeablepeople who can recognize a bargain and can deal with minor imperfections.
YOU WILL GET EXACTLY WHAT IS IN THE PHOTOS. IF SOMETHING IS NOT IN THE PHOTOS, IT IS NOT INCLUDED. NO BOXES, MANUALS, FILTERS OR ANYTHING ELSE UNLESS IT IS IN THE PHOTOS.

I am not a dealer or a store, I\'m sort of a hoarder who is now dumping a lot of stuff. Some stuff is gorgeous, mint and valuable, others are just average used stuff with flaws. My brief description is not a warranty of operation, it is just my fast impression.
I will deal with any problems reasonably with a rational buyer.

LEICA M3 RANGEFINDER, BODY ONLY, BROKEN, FOR PARTS. Please see photos of camera for cosmetic condition. Viewfinder/RANGEFINDER seems to work and viewfinder may be good. Shutter is COMPLETELY JAMMED. I GOT THE CAMERA THIS WAY AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WORK WAS ATTEMPTED ON IT. MAY OR MAY NOR BE COMPLETE. THIS IS SOLD AS BROKEN, NO WARRANTY OF OPERATION ON ANYTHING IN CAMERA. The rangefinder window is very clear and no stains visible to me. The rangefinder dot is bright, vivid and works correctly. I would say the entire viewing/rangefinder system is in excellent condition and totally usable. The main problem with the camera seems to be the jammed shutter. This camera looks to me like someone attempted to begin a repair on the shutter, then gave up. With a repaired shutter and new Vulcanite, this would be a very nice M3.
