Description: This is a 5-day sale ending Sunday April 27. Here is a neat American Flyer set from the early 1930s pulled by the scarce 3109 loco with diecast ends. The ends are usually replaced with crude repro copies because the originals cracked and fell apart. These are the original ends. There are lumps in the die-cast metal and one little nail-head size has fallen off on one side, but these ends are solid and should last a long time. A couple screws to hold the ends on are missing. I have not disassembled this engine and it sold as not tested. Two handrails, window frame and two repro headlights are supplied loose. That\'s the way I got it. Also included are matching 3171, 3176 and 3177 cars. The 3171 is the only one with a light, but the set probably came this way. See photos for nicks and playwear on all items.
