What makes this grease coupler different, better?

TheLockNLube™ grease gun coupler has a unique sliding sleeve, activated by a thumb lever. The sleeve either locks onto the Zerk fitting or releases the jaws from theZerk - easy release.

When the four hardened steel jaws are locked onto the Zerk, a leak-proof sealis created. The locked connection is self-aligning, keeping the leak-proof seal whilelocked on.Because it does not leak, or come off, the grease goes in, not on the machine.Your joint gets the grease it so desperately needs.

A spare seal replacement kit is included standard. So if you have damaged Zerk nipples (with burrs) or you have to use the trigger to release the coupler under very high pressure (up to 690 bar) and the seal is damaged, you can simply replace the tipwith the included seal kit. This grease coupler tool will last years and years!

If a fitting becomes pressurized, especially a recessed one, just depress the thumb lever to releasethe coupler – that\'s it. Stuck couplers will no longer be a problem for you, as is often the case with the standardcoupler designs. With a standard 1/8\" NPT thread connection, the LockNLube™ coupler fits all standard grease guns: electric (battery), pneumatic or hand-operated. So whetheryou have a Lincoln, Alemite, DeWalt, Lumax, Milwaukee or whatever grease gun, replacing your standard tip withthe LockNlube™ Coupler, will make greasing ***SO MUCH EASIER***!When buying a newtool, it is always best to try before you buy. FAQ: The coupler looks bigger than the standard coupler, will it get to all my fittings?

Answer: Yes, the coupler is a little bigger than the standard coupler. No, it may not get at all of your fittings.

There are however a couple of work-arounds.

First, the troublesome fitting can be dealt with by replacing it with one of a different angle say a 45 or 90 degree. Or you could take the coupler that you are replacing with the LockNLube™ coupler and screw in a 45 or 90 in the back end. Lock onto that with the LockNLube™ coupler. Now you have a handy little adapter at almost no cost. The only problem with this idea is that this new little adapter is easily misplaced.

A second solution that solves both those problem is to take a spare grease hose and then use a 3/8\" pipe coupler from your local hardware store. Attach the pipe coupler to one end of the hose and screw in a fitting of your angle choice to the other end of the pipe coupler. On the other end of the hose attach your old standard coupler. This will work every place your old set up did and since it is bigger it is less likely to get misplaced.
