This is a lot of 10 Vintage hats that look like they are from the 1950\'s. These have been store in my Mom\'s basement for many years. Although I didn\'t notice any strong odors they may need airing out as her dehumidifier was not working the last couple of months.
All of these are in pretty decent condition. I will try to describe each one a little bit in order of the closeup photos.
Pink and Black hats - the pink hat is a dark pink trimmed in lighter pink velvet. Netting in good condition, no holes. The black one netting covering feathers and a big velvet bow in the front (or back?). Netting hangs over the one side.
2 white hats with fabric flowers all over. The narrow one has untorn netting, no markings inside.The other one has1 largetear in the netting, this one is stamped inside \"Japan\".
Green feathered and Tan hats: The green feathered hat as feathers that are curled on the ends. Lined with fabric, looks like there was a label inside which is missing. In good condition. The tan/netted hat has velvet pieces that have come off and could easily be glued back on, just not sure where they were. One side of the hat is kind of pushed in from storage. Netting in great shape! This is definitely made for a small head.
Brown and blackhats: The brown beanie shaped hat is felt with a velvety finish on the outside. Has wonderful beading and sequins, a few are missing.No label on this hat.The black velvet hat has lots and lots of beads glued on the front with a pearl-like trim, very pretty! No label inside.
Red and black hats: The red hat is a re-covered hat. The lining was sloppily stitched together so I pulled it apart a bit and see a dark colored straw like hat inside. So, you can take off the red velvety covering and find a surprise inside! The black velvety beanie style hat is in nice condition with a nice beaded design on one side. The rhinestone pin attached in the center has5 missing stones. some of the gold colored beads surrounding the turquoise beads are also missing. Very nice otherwise. Lined with a patterned fabric, Inside in stamped \"Corona\".
