Description Alovelygenuine English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver stamp case by the silversmiths Crisford & Norrisand with a full set of English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1908.Beautifulquality genuine 107 year old silver example,has a hinged slide-out opening action and with a gilded interior.Decorated on the front with engraved scroll-work and has an engraved \"stamps\" motif in the centreand still hasevidence of original enamelling. There are no added engraved personal inscriptions or monograms and it comes complete with its silver attachment/bale ring.

ConditionGood condition,with nosplits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs, definitely no wear/pin holes and no nasty knocks or dents, just a tiny little shallow surface denton the inner frame, really nothing much at all. Still has evidence of original enamelling to the \"stamps\" motif on the front. The hinge works perfectly and the inner frame slides in and out fine. Complete with silver attachment ring and with no added engraved inscriptions or monograms.
