For your consideration, a spectacular set of six (6) dinner plates made at Limoges by Theodore Haviland. They are rather rare and quite stunning. They have an elegantly gilded, gently scalloped rim, a rich cobalt blue border which shades into a lighter blue, and it is overlaid with delicate gilt tracery of flourishes and flowers. The verge is gilded with a delicate flowers and stylized urns, there are delicate rose garlands encircling the center interspersed with hanging pink ribbons, and a central snowflake, also gilt, made of flowers and foliage. All on purest white French porcelain.
Just a totally stunning creation, very French, so elegant. Each plate measures 9 15/16, just about 10\", in diameter. All are in excellent condition with no damage at all, no gilt rub, just fabulous!! Thanks for looking. I hope you can check out my other items which include matching pieces.
