Man Form U.N.C.L.E. King Seeley Thermos Bottle From 1966
Price: US $50.00

Here is oneof the items from my collection of old metal lunch boxes and thermoses that Ino longer collect (nor have any need for) since I’ve retired. Maybe you need itfor your collection?

While the Cold War was looming big-time for adults in the 1960s, America\'s preoccupation with Russian spies showed up in movies and the television shows aired like \"James Bond Agent 007\", \"Secret Agent\", \"I Spy\", and even spoofs like \"Get Smart\". And these trickled down to kids in the form of lunchboxes based on them including \"The Man From U.N.C.L.E.\" that starred Robert Vaughn as Napoleon Solo and David McCallum as Illya Kuryakin.

In thissale:

· Thermos Bottle for the MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. lunch box

·Itwas manufactured by King Seeley Thermos.

·Itwas produced in 1966.

·Iprimarily sell vinyl records on and know those grades; however, I had tolook up a grading scale for lunch boxes and thermoses. Based on ’s “Buying and Collecting Guide to Children’sLunch Boxes”, I believe thisthermos would be graded C9 (Near Mint).

·According to ’s “Buying and Collecting Guide toChildren’s Lunch Boxes”, C9 (Near Mint) “is likely the grade of a lunchbox (orin this case thermos) that seems quite nice, nearly perfect...but notquite. Perhaps minor scratches or maybe a ding, but nothing major”.

· As you can see in the images, this isa REALLYNICE-LOOKING METAL THERMOS BOTTLE. It is nice and shiny, and the imageson it are clean with no major scratches. There are NO dents, NO dings, and NO rust at all. The glass bottleinside looks to be intact and not broken. The tan screw-on inner thermos cap isperfect. The tan cup is nice with some lightwear (tiny scratches) primarilyon the top rim with a few tiny surfacescratches in the top center area where the “THERMOS” logo is located.

·Inthis sale is the thermos bottle only. There is NO MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. lunch box in this sale.

Here is a MANFROM U.N.C.L.E. Thermos Bottlein GREAT CONDITION lookingfor home inside a NICE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. lunch box!!!
