I am the 2nd owner, They are from a late gentlemen’s estate and he used up until his passing
I purchased them some years ago and they have been fantasticperformers
No issues to report one amp has the slightest bit of background noiseif you put your ear up to the speaker
Volume controls and switches work well but have a slight bitnoise when adjusted
Nice original tube cages mint
I have used these amps for many years trouble free
There are a few super tiny scratches/marks all very minor otherwise theywouldbe mint
Faceplate near mint couplevery slight marks/tiny nickshard to even see
Transformer painting very nice
Marantz original case paint near mint one has a little paint loss on back
The Silk screening isexcellentthroughout

I have been asked about the Marantz covers on the front of the amps they are 100% ORIGINAL Marantz Covers
It appears that the original buyer request thefactory add awood extension to the covers to allow connections of larger wiring as there was never much room in there and often the coverswere left off, I do not believe them to have been added later as they match the original Marantz woodhandlein finish,age and patina
These wood extensions can veryeasily be removed if you like making the brushed aluminumfaceplate flush as most Marantz 9s are fitted with
