This sale is fora vintage tin lithographed, windup powered Main Street made by Marx with theoriginal box! This toy is massive at about 24” long and loaded with tinlithographing and detailed tin parts! Thistoy has three cars, three trolley cars, police office directing traffic and kid,statue of man with horse, fruit cart vender, clock tower, two trolley wirebeams, and the two end buildings! Whenactivated the cars and trolleys move along their path with mechanical sound –very cool toy with simply amazing detailing and lithographing from end toend!
This tin toy wastested and WORKS – the carsand trolleys move along the road with mechanical sound – very cool toy andSUPER LARGE!!!
The original box forthis tin toy has excellent graphic artwork throughout with the busy MainStreet. The box has nice colors andpatina – puncture repairs, left/right ends repaired – there is a small hole farleft center, damage as shown – overall displays well and looks killer with thisclean toy!
