From an Ithaca, NY estate. Once-in-a lifetime Limoges jardinière and claw foot stand.Fabulous, masterfully hand-painted pink roses by noted Pickard artist Thomas M. Jelinek. Hand signed \"T.M. Jelinek\" on jardinière. Incredible detail, glorious coloration. The roses are vivid and dimensional, with a gradual fade off into the distance. Cannot gush enough about the quality of this piece. Matching base has elements of the rose and leaves on each of the four panels. Inside deep rim of jardinière painted with the background green. Each marked \"J.P.L France\" on bases. Utterly magnificent.
Measures 12\" tall on plinth base. Jardiniere measures approximately 12\" at widest dimension. Rim of jardinière measures 9\" in diameter.
VG++ condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. There is definite wear to the gold around the jardinière rim, the rim of the base, and in a few places on the claw feet. Please see photos for more detail. And feel free to be in touch with any questions you mat have.
