MFJ 422 Electronic Keyer &Bencher Paddle Combo
Up for offer is a really nice MFJ Keyer / Bencher Paddle Combo. MFJ made this keyer specifically to fit the Bencher BY-1 paddle. The keyer and paddle work just fine. It is powered from a 9 volt battery (not included) or a 5 to 9 volt wall wart (not included). Either of these power supply items are readily and easily available. The Keyer has the volume and speed controls on the side as well as a selector button to switch between semi automatic (bug) mode or full automatic keyer mode. On the back there is a weight control that you need a screwdriver to adjust. Most people don\'t bother with this control. There is a keyer output for Grid Block Keying (older tube type radios) or Direct Keying for newer solid state radios, so both types are covered. I don\'t have a manual, but you can download one from the internet easily. This was one of MFJ\'s better ideas and it works well in practice, too. I\'m just not using it in my current setup and need to sell some stuff to pay for other stuff, so here it is for you to enjoy. Thanks for looking and offerding.
