This is a CD which has 7 PDFs of this Large Scale design, \"Harbor\" or \"Sea Going\" tugboat model. I take the CD to my Print Shop down the streetand they print out the 7 PDFs to 100% which makes you a complete set of 5 foot 4 inch sheets that you can carbon paper trace the keel, frames,and decks onto two sheets of 1/2 inch, good on both sides, plywood.Cut out the parts with an electric, hand held saber saw. You may cut out these parts in wood-butcher fashion. Take your time. . .this part of your tugboat will be completely buried in the finished model. Relax. . .you can always make another part if you wreck one; you have your own shipyard. And, they make wedges, wood filler, wood files, sandpaper, and paint. . .really,you\'re covered -  pun intended. Enjoy and share your build with family, friends, and complete strangers. I have designed the main frame assembly so that it fits together with a few 1 1/4 inch galvanized deck screws. Of the four tugs I have built, my time to cut out and set up a tug \"skeleton\" has been about 10 hours of tracing, cutting out, and setting up. Indeed, the quick creation of your tug\'s frame workwill give you satisfaction of a job well done, the inspiration to begin, and confidence to start designing and building your own big tugboat. . .a tugboat that will do actual tasks. This tugboat build is more of a wood working project than meticulously putting together a small model tugboat.These drawings have pictures and tips and ideas written on them and there is a companion Internet website which posts pictures of tugs in progress. Lots ofhelp and inspiration to make your tugboat building a quality time experience, void of disappointments. Most of the deck hardware and other fittings can be bought here on and at your local Hardware Store. Building the skeleton is like painting by numbers. . .finishing this big tugboat is an adventure that requires effort, patience, and the determination to learn the basics of sawing a board and screwing them together.
