This model is one of thecoolestlookingAtomic age designes with the large Dial &lower grill area with brass inlay dial knob.The cabinet exhibits only a few very light marks and subtle brush-like scratches over its lifetime, so minor not even worth mentioning! There is a small ding and some very light scratches on the plastic dial cover from years of use,and there is pitting in the brass inner ring of the knob that could not be removed. No other issues and all minor in nature for a 60+ year old!! This one isfor the avid mid centuryradioenthusiastand collector that prefers sets ingood working condition!
The power cordwas replaced and isnow safe for use,along with a re cappedchassis with a very clean andperfectspeaker cone!
This set is in working condition with strong cleanBIG soundingaudio,super selectivity from thisAM band only radio!.There is nothing more to be stated here,it has been a while since i have seen this model,even though not perfect cosmetically it was well worth the effort! A 5 tubedesign that can play every day if desired!!If you value mid century retro models from the 50sthis one is for you! Fully bench tested and awaiting a new home or office!
