This is a 1940 "Pursuit Airplane" pedal car by Murray based on the first all-metal production fighter aircraft and the first "Pursuit Monoplane" used by the United States Army Air Corps - the Boeing P-26 Peashooter. This example retains the three wheels (including rubber), exhaust ports, steering wheel, propeller, tail wheel directional bar and propeller spring with the windshield and horizontal stabilizer.
