Native American Indian Yocuts Or Mono Lake Cooking Basket Circa 1890\'s. Here is a really neat Native American Indian Cooking Basket. This is a used basket. It is Circa 1890\'s. This basket is from either the Yocuts or Mono Lake tribes. It has very nice design elements. The basket is a cooking basket so it does show ethnographic wear. Overall it does look and show nicely but it does have some condition issues. The base of the basket has a split going about 1/3 of the bottom. It has some rim splits and missing stitches. The field looks good with only minor stitch loss. It\'s a really nice looking basket! It measures approximately 8 1/4\" tall x 16 3/4\" wide.
