By now the originalfeet have deteriorated and no longer serve the purpose they once had. After more than 75 years,these feet will have flattened down and no longer grip the work surface. Many times the screw that mounts them to the typewriter protrudes from the flattened rubber and will damage (scratch)the desk it's sitting on. When we recondition a Remington portable typewriter in our shop, we always replace these feet. And they make your typewriter look good too!
