Quite good condition lantern, unknown maker with patent date (bottom of base) Aug 31, 1875. Lantern and clear cast 5 1/4\"globe are marked NYWS&BRy. Brass top in great condition.
Lantern has been polished and lacquered, frame surface has pitting, some weld repairs at the bottom of the verticals. Globe has a crack at the top (see pics), which is not completely covered by frame.
