To see ALL the photographs before offerding click hereHere is a very nice Lionel Steam Engine and Tender made in 1933-35. Includes the original Engine and Tender Boxes. This is the black with green frame, No. 260E 2-4-2 Steam engine with its No. 260T eight wheel tender. Engine looks to be in excellent condition - as seen in the pictures (please click the link above to view ALL the pictures before offerding). Original paint with only minor wear. Put on a test track and it lights-up front, underneath but I couldn't get it to run correctly. It made noices, but I couldn't get it to run. Not sure what is the matter, as wheels turn freely, and everything looks clean. Original lens on the pilot. E-unit switch in the rear. The tender also looks great - nice clean trucks and couplers. Both Boxes are very nice originals. The Engine box has its original Insert. Tender box also looks to be in good condition. Overall, this is a nice set. One for the collection. Buyer pays for shipping. When possible, multiple items will be shipped together to reduce shipping costs. PA resident to pay state sales tax of 6%.
