A pair of HTF Antique Cast Iron Toy Cap Guns, "Cowboy" and "Pluck", attributed to J&E Stevens Co., Cromwell, Connecticut. ca.1925. See Internet for further information on the firm.

Included are two miniature revolver-type cap toys of similar form, appearance and operation. Both are single action, single-shot, and use standards caps. Both are mechanically sound and in working condition; the hammer locks into position when pulled back, and releases with good action when the trigger lever is operated. See below for specifics.

First, embossed: COWBOY, left side, and MADE IN U.S.A., right side. Casting imperfections, oxidation and surface pitting noted throughout. No cracks or repaired damage. Measures approximately 3-1/2"L x 2"H x 1/2"W overall.

Second, embossed: PLUCK, left side, and inscribed(?) MADE IN USA, right side. Light surface oxidation noted throughout. No cracks; pin is off-color and likely an early replacement. Measures approximately 3-1/2"L x 2"H x 1/2"W overall.
