This violin would look good in any collection. It is full-size and it has a very neat back on it. It is sold for the collector and I am sure few violin collection include one like this. There is a label but most of the violins sold on are reproductions of the maker on the label and I am no expert nor have I shown the violin to any experts.I am selling it as a very unusual violin that I feel should be collectable due to the fancy carved back. offer accordingly!My dental mirror shows that the cracks on the top have been repaired (including many cleats) and there is a cracked rib at the chinrest area that is also repaired.
