For your consideration, a gorgeous serving platter gorgeously hand painted with florals, lavishly gilded rims and a fabulous blu de roi, French royal blue, border.This is very early Haviland, circa 1850, made at Limoges during David Haviland\'s partnership with Thomas Rees, who was an importer of Limoges China headquartered in New York. The partnership dissolved by the mid-1850\'s. It has a richly gilded rim and verge, the blue border is overlaid with richly gilt florals, and four fabulous reserves of floral sprays. The center features a magnificent handpainted rose in full bloom. Stunning! It measures 12.75\" by 9\". It is inexcellent condition. Really an outstanding piece of old Paris porcelain.
