You are offerding on a Queen & Crescent Route andSouthern Railway menu. This 6 ½” x 10 ½” tri-fold card item features aphotograph of High Bridge at the top of the menu. This spectacular bridge carries the Queen& Crescent Route across the Kentucky River near Wilmore, Kentucky. The lower two-thirds of the menu listssoups; relishes; fish, steak and chops; an imported frankfurter; chicken dishes; vegetables;cold meats; cereals withcream; bread, fruit and cheese; and beverages. Water served on the dining cars comes fromthe famous Stafford Springs, located on the Q&C line at Vossburg,Mississippi. The reverse side shows aplace for a postage stamp, but is otherwise blank. I don’t see a printing date. Unfortunately, this scarce item has severalissues. The upper-third photo hasseparated from the remainder of the menu. The right side of the menu shows heavywear. Both sides of the photo show areasof insect damage (abrasions on the surface layer of paper) as does the lowerleft corner of the menu. These issuesare complemented by a little soil.
