Al'óoni is the third bear from my new series “Black bears are not always black”. There are six morphs of black bears: black, brown, cinnamon, blond, glacier, or white (Kermode bear).

Al'óoni is the glacier black bear. The glacier bears had a very limited range, being located only in Southeast Alaska. One of the features of the glacier bears is theirs pelage. It ranges from silvery blue to gray.

His name means “hunter” from Tlingit people language. He was named such because of his amazing hunting skills. He is so happy! Today, he learned how to catch salmon.

Al'óoni was made from deep charcoal almost black base faux fur with flecks of greys and silver. He is about 20,5 inches (52 cm) standing and 15 inches (39 cm) sitting. His paw pads are made from leather. Claws are handmade from Apoxie Sculpt. Al'óoni has handpainted brown glass eyes with leather lower eyelids and fur upper eyelids. His nose is handsculted from silicone.

Al'óoni has OPEN and CLOSE eyes and he can sleep!

Also he has OPEN and CLOSE mouth with Apoxie Sculpt teeth and a siliconed felt tongue.

Al'óoni is a 5 way jointed bear. He filled with hollowfiber and steel pellets. His weight is about 2 lb 3 oz (1 kg 18 g). Al'óoni has a plastic spine and a steel and brass armature in his paws. So why he can be posed in many lovely poses. Al'óoni has a growler in his body.

Al'óoni's back and paws were carefully airbrushed with blue paint. His muzzle was shaded with grey paint.

Al'óoni brings his coho salmon fish with him. The fishwas designed and made by me too.

Al'óoni is One of a Kind and 100% handmade. He comes with signed sertificate of authenticity providing he is made by me, Svetlana Khabarova. Also his right back paw is signed.

Al'óoni is an adult collectable and not intended for small children.
