The neckline and sleeve cuffs are decorated with pleated net lace. The back neckline has long net lace streamers. The bodice is lined with cotton and has a front button closure. The front hemline on the skirt has Van Dyke points that are edged with silk fringe. The bottom hemline has rows of ruching that are edged with fringe. The skirt has a long back sweep. There are ties on the inside for creating the bustle effect. The skirt is lined with cotton. The dress is in very good condition. There is one small pea size hole and tiny split in the fabric under the front draped panel and one small pea size age spot on the front of the skirt. There is no underarm discoloration.
