Very rare Germannavy & u-boat fleet calendar book from 1916. It contains 254 pages with numerousimages: art and photos, including photos of U-9, its commander Otto Weddigen,and thesinking Lusitania (a painting); see my photos #2 & # 8. Signed by a former owner and only in this sense \"signed\", unfortunately on a picture; seephoto # 7. It measures 5 1/2 x 7 3/4 inches, has a sturdy softcover withnaval art by renowned German painter Professor Willy Stöwer,and it is inused condition: browning pages,covers with very slight short creases and abrasions, all inside pages withvisible moisture marks, i.e. contours or edges of a spilt fluidcan still be seen, though they are all dried up; see my photos; some pages with spotting--nothing surprising for its age ofnearly 100 years!
