Original 1955 Opening Day Disneyland Dateline Press Kit

This is a very rare, if not unique, piece of Disneyland history.
Outer envelope/folio is approximately 9 1/2\" x 13\", it reads:\"ABC Television Network Press Kit Dateline Disneyland — July 17, 1955\".
There is a five page typed letter describing the stars, ceremonies,and events that will take place at the grand opening, and a four page typed letterexplainingwhat equipment will be used in the filming and what preparations have been made.
Includes a folded promotional brochure that is 11\" x 17\" when open. Additionally, there is an oil board binder/folder which contains an ABC cover letter signed by Gene Accas and seven photos of Disneyland: aerial, construction, and promotional views, each accompanied by a small press clip.
The overall condition is good, the outside envelope does showextensive wear and has been repaired with tape.Please view all photos for details. I am happy to answer any questions.
