ON 9/27/17, HUGH HEFNER,THE CREATOR AND PUBLISHER OF PLAYBOY PASSED AWAY AT THE INCREDIBLE AGE OF 91. HE CAME UP WITH THE CONCEPT OF PLAYBOY MAGAZINE IN 1953. HE WAS JUST 23 YEARS OF AGE! HIS SELECTION OF THE NOW WORLD FAMOUS \"LUSCIOUS AND SENSUAL\" PHOTOGRAPH OF THE NAKED MARILYN MONROE AS PLAYBOY\'S \"SWEETHEART OF THE MONTH\" WAS BRILLIANT AND ALSO CAUSED THE SALE OF 50.000 COPIES IN THE FIRST MONTH. AND CAUSED THE LAUNCH OF A PUBLISHING EMPIRE THAT STILL EXISTS TODAY.THIS IS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION, IT IS ENCLOSED IN TWO REMOVABLE FRAMES, IT IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION FOR IT\'S AGE. ALL THE PAGES ARE INTACT, THERE ARE NO RIPS. YOU CAN READ THIS ENTIRE MAGAZINE AS YOU WOULD ANY CURRENT MAGAZINE. (Because I used a flash in taking the photos, you might see some glare in the photos, but that is strictly the glare. The photos show the magazine without the plastic sleeve it is in, then with the magazine in the plastic, then the first frame it\'s in, and then the second frame,and again, they are both removable frames)
THIS IS A VERY RARE COLLECTIBLE MAGAZINE THAT WILL ONLY INCREASE IN VALUE.I HAVE STARTED THE offerDING AT THE YEAR THE MAGAZINE WAS PUBLISHED $19.53, BUT OF COURSE I DO HAVE A RESERVE DUE TO THE VALUE OF THE PIECE.
