My wife inherited this doll and she is deathly afraid of it - too many episodes of \"Ghost Stories.\"
This is a wonderful Ideal Toy Corp \"Daddy\'s Girl\" made in 1961 (also wife\'s B-day). She stands 42\" tall and is marked Ideal Toy Corp G-42-1 on her neck, and Ideal Toy Corp G-42 on her back. She has beautiful brunette hair. Doll has a small split/crack on her right foot. She has a swivel waist and jointed ankles and they move well. Her eyes are nice and clear, and open and close well. She has beautiful face with no apparent flaws. The clothing is not original, but the shoes are, even though they are starting to fray a bit.
