This is an original US Army M1D Garand Sniper Rifle Cheek Pad. The leather is in excellent condition still strong and pliable. All of the brass grommets are intact and firmly secure, there is a little of the green corrosion as you can see in the pictures. The gray felt pad is separated into 3 pieces and each is graduated to form fit the space. Check out the pictures and you can see there are a few stitches missing just ahead of the brass grommets and the leather has a small rip at the end of the stitches. Also there is a small piece of leather broken out by the 2nd grommet. The 2 holes for the screws that attach the pad to the stock do not have grommets and this is correct for this pad.
