I acquired this world war two ike jacket from a grand prairie estate sale about a year ago. it is being offered exactly as found. the jacket has a philadelphia quartermaster depot tag but no info stamped. no size tag. measurements are sleeves 23.5 inches. chest 17 inches and length 24 inches. excellent condition free of nips or tears or stains. jacket has sterling clutch back combat infantrymans badge and sterling clutchback wing. two lanyards. presidential unit citation award.ribbon bar with two campaign stars and germany army of occupation. written inside the jacket the name sweenie 101-228. there is several numbers above that. i was curious why it had a 82nd and 101st airborne patch and through some reading i learned that 82nd airborne veterans that did not have enough points to go home at the end of the war were transferred to the 101st airborne and did occupation duty in germany. a nice 82nd ike jacket and a fine addition to your WWII collection. 10.00 shipping. i combine shipping. paypal or contact for options. good luck. mike
