Original WWII US M6 leather scabbard by \"Barwood,\" dated 1943, for M3 knife

Offered is an original WWII period US M6 leather scabbard by \"Barwood,\" dated 1943, for the M3 fighting knife.  Leather is dry but supple; has never had any oil treatment.  All seams and rivets intact, except one in the lower right corner of the metal plate - see photos.  All staples present at the throat.  Has retaining strap with functional snap.  Last photo shows the scabbard with an M3 knife in it - knife is NOT part of this sale.  It is offered in another sale I have running concurrently, listed with a modified M8 scabbard.  All came in with a grouping to a WWII US 14th Army Air Force pilot - the balance of his material I hope to get up and running in a few days.  This scabbard was wrapped around a M1936 web pistol belt (running concurrently) with the pilot\'s effects.  See photos.
