P1903 Bayonet by rare Mole manufacturer dated 12 \'03 Royal Garison Artillery
Price: US $204.01
This is a good example of the 1903 pattern bayonet by the rare maker Mole with Enfield producing most. This has a good blade with no corrosion or damage. Some staining appears on both faces. It is stamped with the crown of king Edward VII over 1903 over 12 \'03 manufacture date of December 1903. On the reverse side it is stamped with the broad arrow of British ownership above Mole above inspection crown and 26 above the X bend stamp. The pommel is stamped 22 S over RGA over 9. Research indicates this to be the Royal Garrison Artillery 22 Southern Scottish. The walnut grips are in excellent condition stamped with S for being sold out of service. The locking release mechanism works perfectly and is complete with an excellent scabbard with no damage to the stitching, chape or locket.
