This sale is for two Quicksilver Audio Mono Amps serial #\'s 309 & 310. Chassis units only- NO tubes included.

These Monoblockswere intended to run on 8417 output tubes, but those tubes are becoming very rare and difficult to find. I have heard that they can easily be modified to run on 6550\'s or KT88\'s but I already have a lot of tube audio projects on my plate/grid/cathode!

So, I am passing these on with a low starting price. The sale does NOT include any vacuum tubes, because...

1:Glass vacuum tubes arein danger of beingdamaged whenshipped in the same package as a heavy chassis.

2: I need all the tubes I can keep for my other tube amplifiers.

3: If you are looking at this sale, you probably have your own stash of preferred tubes anyway and would frown on a set of my cheap JJ\'s.

Thesemonoblock amps are in good condition except: The AC power cordsare getting stiff from age and the rubber feet have dried out and are crumbly. Some feet are missing. They have not been powered on for a few years.

For international shipping theseitems should fit into a box thatis within the limits of what USPS Priority International will ship. Howeversome countries may have different requirements, so it may be necessary to amend the shipping bill if they for some reason need to be shipped in separate containers.

Otherwise domestic US shipping will be via FedEx Ground, insured and with signature required.
