We are offering for sale a high qualitypair of Victorian silver pepper pots.
These pepper pots are hand embossed with floral scrolls and oval cartouches that benefit frombeing neither engraved nor have been erased.
A major benefit of this pair and an indication of their high quality is the threaded covers. These were expensive to make but it means that the lids will not fall off when shaken! They are also gilt (gold-wash) to the interiors.
These are a delightful pair of pepperettes that are far superior in quality to most that will be found on the antique market.
MEASUREMENTS: 6cm high; 3.5cm diameter; 61g weight.
MARKS: Full set of English hallmarks (guaranteeing Sterling 925 standard silver) for London 1890, made by Henry Atkin.
