Pennsyvania Railroad Penn Line (Dietz Vulcan Corning? ) RR Lantern BLUE Globe
Price: US $360.00
Welcome Railroad Enthusiast, Here is a very old Globe found amongst family items where everything their was very old. A Penn Line Railroad (Pennsylvania Railroad) Globe for a Lantern. Blue in color.Much to my regret i could not offer only the basic information on this item, as it seems to be a scarce one and not a lot to be found anywhere, we looked at several sites as far as forgery s as it would be not a good thing. The name appears to be very finely done, under the scrutiny of the flash of the camera it looks a bit rougher than without, i have tried with the pictures to give a good idea of it.
We stand behind all we offer with a 100% Guarantee of your satisfaction, no need for worry there.
With that being out of the way, it is about 5-3/8\" Tall. The Base or bottom width is slightly over 3-1/4\" wide. The top across is right about 2-7/16\" across. The globe is thick throughout and the \"Penn Line\" has a 5 dots symbol inside the logo, it begins on one of the mold lines and is not fancy, just a identifying mark. In most of what info i could take in this may be a good sign. If you know anything that would be helpful, please feel free to message us.
We are careful shippers of this kind of item, no sense in going to the trouble if it arrives broken. Please make PayPal payment within 2 days of sale ending or communicate to us any payment ideas beforehand, thanks.
Thank You for looking, also we have a marble top rembrant cast iron stand, a folk art wood box and some interesting items from the same place, a family storage passed down from the 1950\'s...we will list these soon..

Note, the pictures kind of make the glass look chipped in the globe part, it does not seem to have any except (already mentioned) some very minute ones on the bottom and top, these that look like they are just may be the imperfect in the glass or age.. just to let you know, thanks
