This sale is for aPORT BeveragesSodabottle fromPortBottlingWorks of Goose Creek, Texas.
This isa12oz. bottle dated 1940.This 77 year old bottle is in very goodcondition.Thereare no chips, cracks
or dingsto report. The bottle just has some light surface wear from use, no case wear. There is some light
cloudiness inside the most noticeable in the neck area. The label is glossy and bright red and white. There is
some yellowing in spotsof the white area of the label. It\'s light but still worth noting.
I\'ve included several photos of the label for accuracy. I washed the bottle well but will leave it to the new
owner if further cleaning is required. The Port Beverage bottles whether in this 12 oz. size or the smaller 7 oz.
are both rare to come by. These arenear the top of every Texas ACL wanted list.
Goose Creek, just east of Houstonbecame Baytown somewhere along the line so this one is actually from a
town that no longer exists. I believe the school district therestill goes by Goose Creek I.S.D.
