You are offerding on a Rare, Pre-Columbian, Mesoamerican, Ceramic Artifact from the Classic-Period archaeological site of Teotihuacan (A.D. 250 - 650) located in the Central Valley of Mexico near Mexico City...2-Hole Pottery Container common to Classic-Period Teotihuacan but rarely found elsewhere in Mesoamerica...typically found in household middens so believed to be connected to domestic rituals/routines of somesort...called Candeleros by early Spanish missionaries and settlers because they looked like candleholders but there is no evidence that the ancient Teotihuacanoes had candles - so probably not candle holders...
...the Pottery Container is about 1 7/8\" tall and 2 5/8\" wide and 1 1/2\" thick...the Candeleros has 2 Cylindrical Holes about 1 3/4\" deep and with diameters of about 7/8\"...Punctate Designs also serve to rough-up the outer surface to improve grip...very few condition issues - small rim chip and some punctate-ledges worn...
