Very good condition and guaranteed original pre WWI US ArmyModel 1912 mounted cavalry holster for the Colt 1911 .45 Automatic pistol. Niceclear US oval stamp on the flap. Maker marked “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL” on the backand dated 1912. Leather is soft and supple with nice brown color and shows somenormal wear. Stitching and rivets are nice and tight. Holster is complete. Legstrap may be a replacement. A really nice, rare first year production M1912mounted holster that will make an excellent addition to your collection.
