Very good plus condition original pre WWIIJapanese Type 32 sword that is complete with correct original matching numberedscabbard. Sword is the “otsu” model with a 30 ½” blade, issued to NCOs and menin the military police and transportation corps, and master sergeants in theinfantry, engineers, and artillery. Sword has the Tokyo Arsenal symbol on theguard along with two tiny kanji characters. Blade has original bright finishwith a little scattered brown and gray. Still has original leather washer atthe base. Remaining metal finish is original blue with a few areas of brown.Wood grip has original finish and a good tight fit. Finger loop was removed.Complete with scabbard latch spring that functions fine. Matching numberedsteel scabbard has original blue metal finish with some scattered brown, nodents. A nice Japanese Type 32 sword with matching numbers.
