Izannah Walker Style Doll ~~

I use to have to explain who Izannah Walker was , but now,,,, I do believe everyone in the dolly world has heard this name by now as she is ever so popular (me being one of her biggest fans)!

Here is my interpretation of an early Izannah Walker doll. This \"one of a kind\" 16\" doll was handmade by me and will come signed and dated.

She is 16 inches tall. Made of stuffed fabric with molded clay over the head/neck area and covered in a stockinette. Painted and sealed. Her little thumbs areseperately attached like the originals . The bottom part of arms, legs/ boots are also painted and sealed.

Her dress is removable and fits her to a tee. It is made of beautiful antique fabric.. Lots of handsewing and hemming involved. Pantaloons and chemise underneath too!

She comes with one of my printed and framed samplers.

She is looking rather shy , but don\'t let that fool you..... ;-)

As Always she will come signed and dated with a custom Hangtag!
