All components and rivets are removed; chassis is rechromed, reprinted (highly durable epoxy ink); transformers & bottom chassis are professionally sanded, primed, painted (no smell!). Rivets identical to originals are used in reassembly.new power cord, new RCA jack (identical to original, with ceramic insert)Power supply rebuild with a new multi-section capacitors(the tallest on the market at no extra cost - 80/40/30/20 550v, made in Germany, 3.75\" tall for the proper vintage look). Nothing glued inside amp (your MC30 deserves better!), new power resistors.Bias supply circuitry rebuilt with the old selenium rectifier (a fire hazard) replaced with diode, proper value resistor installed to make up for voltage difference, Vishay Sprague Atom electrolytics.All caps replaced with paper in oil caps (audio path), mylar and polypropylene caps (bypass), and silver mica (response network). Our cap selection is the result of numerous and rigorous A/B listening and side by side comparison to ensure conservation of vintage tone. Every single resistor checked and replaced if off by more than 5% with carbon comps for vintage tone. The two critical 12K 2W resistors that must be matched within 2% replaced with NOS Bradley carbon comps, hand selected for proper matching.All new wiring installed will be silver/teflon.All tube sockets deox\'d and tightened if needed.All tubes you supply with amp(s) will be checked with our professionally calibrated equipment, power tubes tested with digital maxi matched tube tester for current draw (essential for proper self-biasing for all push-pull amps). Note that we do not sell vacuum tubes but will advise on condition of your tubes
