My name is Chris Moran and I\'d like tell you a little bit about The Happy Coin, how it started and what we do...
After developing an interest in coins a number of years ago, I formed a vest pocket coin dealership in September of 2009. I began buying coins at various shows throughout the northeast, and I handled a consignment of coins for a good friend. My focus was US Coins with great eye appeal and my retail outlet was . My primary objective was exceptional customer service. As the volume of my sales increased, I met some great people and formed some really nice business relationships. I began to realize that my initial interest had turned into a passion and my small coin business was showing some significant potential. In September 2011, I formed The Happy Coin LLC and took on my partner, Jerry Jackson. Shortly thereafter, I left a lifelong career in the Automobile Industry and began spending all of my professional efforts and passion building the foundations of this business.
Jerry and I would consider it a privilege to assist you in building any kind of coin collection, from a raw set of circulated Indian Head Cents to a high end collection of Proof Morgan Dollars or Mint State Double Eagles. Of course, we all know that intelligently building a coin collection is a shrewd investment, a great way to diversify, a discreet way to pass wealth to future generations, a solid inflation hedge, etc., etc., but most of all, though, it\'s a great way to have fun. We think that \"having fun\" is one of the more important aspects of assembling a collection. We also know that you build a better collection when you really enjoy assembling it. So while great coins and exceptional customer service remain our primary focus, we certainly want to make sure we keep \"having fun\" as a top priority at The Happy Coin.
