Rare 1901 Large Face CHELSEA SHIP\'s CLOCK Ships Made for Spaulding & Co. Chicago

ESW presents, from a fine San Diego estate, this very rare Chelsea Clock Co made of Spaulding & Co. ships clock with opening porthole cover, mounted on substantial on it\'s original wooden base. Dial alone measures 8 inches across. Total measurement across top bezel is 10 3/8 inches. Back of clock is marked Chelsea and has a patent date of 1901.
This is estate found and in as found condtion. NO missing or replacement parts. ALL original. Not running but original movement is complete. It will need to be serviced. It has been in dry storage and this is NO corrosion.
The clock came with the sticker in the photos: 9/30/33, 4889L. Clock measures approx. 13\" high (top of rounded wooden back), 14\" wide (wooden base), 6 1/2\" deep (wooden base).
