Good quality white earthenware, molded construction with faux bamboo twig handle, painted in the round with ascenic composition of two winged cherubs at leisure, one reading to the other, in a mountainous landscape beside a lake. Wonderful vibrant colors and confident, expressive draftsmanship, all under a shiny top glaze.

Maker\'s mark:Marked with a handwritten decorator cipher and number 626 and Italy, a mark that looks like one of the many Ginori decorator devices of the time.
