Rare Vintage 1956 Flying Saucer Bank by Duro Mold Mfg. Inc. Detroit Mich. U.S.A. This is the rarest of the 1950\'s thru 1970\'s Space Ship Rocket Moon type banks that were made by several companies. This bank was only produced one year in 1956, and was made from peoples photo\'s and drawings see underside of bank for more information. This bank label reads \"CITY NATIONAL BANK\" Murphysboro, Ill \"The Bank That Searves The People\". Label does have wear but is still readable. This bank comes with the plastic Bubble Dome over the Space Alien Pilot that is usually missing on these banks. Also comes with original duro mold key to remove coins from the base. Also has hole in base for paper bills,and has copies of original operating instructions and information about this bank.Bank is in great working condition and has minor wear to finish.
