Rare Vintage 1956 "Flying Saucer" Mechanical Metal Bank by Duro Mold Mfg. Detroit Mich. U.S.A. This is the rarest of the 1950's thru 1970's rocket moon type banks and this Flying Saucer Bank was only made one year in 1956. This label reads USAF or United States Air Force. The bank is in great operating condition and has the original Duro Mold Key to open the base to remove your coins and has copies of the operating instructions and information about this bank. This bank was designed by people who claimed to have photographs and drawings of the U.F.O. read underside of the bank. One of the best condition Flying Saucer Banks that I have seen for sale.
