Heremust bethe rarest vintage Barbie Gift Set in the world. I have searched everywhere to find an example and picture of this set to put the pieces all in place. I could only find one little picture and description from a Barbie booklet on the internet. I purchased this set from the original owner who was an adult collector of Barbie and bought it newherself. So none of the items have really been played with and are pristine. It is like a double gift set with clothes in the top lid and the bottom. There are four separate sections of the clothes sewn on cardboard. The two on the left are allstill attached to the cardboard with the original cello wrapping. The other two on the right have been opened and some pieces removed but not all of them. These are the original pieces to the gift set. I did not replace them with different pieces of clothing from somewhere else.She removed them and put them in a Barbie case with a other outfits. So again, I have to research what pieces exactly went with this gift set.
First there is a beautiful all original No. 4 Barbie doll. Her hair is in original top knot and bottom rubber band with the hard curl. No touchups. She has the slightest green dot at each ear that would be covered up by replacement earrings. She has the softer vinyl arms like the early dolls and one arm swings out a little bit. She has all finger and toe polish. There are a few little pin dot marks on one upper leg which is common for the early dolls that comes from the factory molding. Her one breast is a little flatter then the other at the tip She also has a line mark on her back maybe from lying on her stand in the box. These are all normal age and factory things that I am mentioning. NOT from being played with!
The box has it\'s corner issues. There are splits. You really have to look at the photos to see the condition. There is no writing on the box. The upper right group of clothes still has the Computer jacket and skirt sewn to the card. This outfit comes with the Gay Parisienne hat. The white satin blouse still has the cardboard insert. The bottom right group of clothes still has the Silken Flame dress and orange sweater attached.
The box has a few stains on the inside section where Barbie goes.I also puta little tape on two corner to secure it. The neck liner is there with a few stains. There is the Black R pedestal stand and Barbie Booklet with her sunglasses.
I have tried to describe everything. There may be some little minor thing that I did not say. So if you are a very fussy/mint collector please ask any questions before you offer. This set is lovely and being sold as is and old. There is no return and I want you to be happy with it. I have been excited to get it!

I forgot to mention the Gay Paisienne hat is still attached to the card. The Evening Splendour outfit is not. Neither is the undergarments, hat box, gloves, purse, hankie or the jewelry. In the other section, Nighty Negligee is not attached and the comb, brush, mirror and shoes are not attached.
