Crandell a versatile and prolific artist and illustrator created snappy and now iconic advertising images such as this in a modernist dramatic art deco pin-up girl jazz-age aesthetic and design style. This one really pops a sexy redhead in silk stockings and other current and risque evening wear attire.This is from the collection of Norman Platnick - and was purchased by our gallery from the author and celebrated collector directly last month in New York.
