The 1 1/8\" diameter piece is in the form of a cherry blossom. The center is set with a dazzling 4mm diamond (the diamond has been tested and is guaranteed to be a natural gemstone) surrounded by eight, 1.5mm pearls. There are no hallmarks on the piece. I believe it may be Japanese and its realistic quality and overall construction would date it to the late Meiji period. A more recent pendant bale was soldered on at some point. The overall condition is very fine with some extremely minor edge chips to the coral.
